Covering a very large area between Bordeaux, the Pyrénées mountains and Toulouse, Southwest France offers unequalled diversity of styles and unmistakable wine identities. It is for instance the cradle of "malbec" and "tannat" for powerful red wines, or "colombard" and "manseng" for very aromatic white varieties.
